Contraindications

VEL NeXT is contraindicated in the presence of:

  • Necrotic tissue with eschar
  • Presence of untreated coagulopathy/ Clotting disorder
  • Untreated osteomyelitis
  • Wounds with unexplored/ visible fistula
  • Wounds containing malignant tissues
  • Wounds containing open joint capsules
  • Compromised micro-vascular blood flow to wound
