    Wound healing involves a complex process at the cellular level. In case of chronic wounds, the healing time is prolonged due to infection and prevailing disease conditions. VEL NeXT ™(NPWT) has a unique capacity of wound healing, covering a range of acute and chronic wounds. NPWT is a therapeutic technique of using a vacuum to promote wound healing in acute or chronic conditions, reduces edema, enhances microcirculation, improves tissue growth & contracts wound. VEL NeXT ™ serves the purpose of cleaning large wounds, preventing any further spread of internal degradation and infections, if any. Its technology is engineered to deliver comfortable, massaging negative pressure for best results and patient comfort.

    • Necrotic tissue with eschar
    • Untreated osteomyelitis
    • Wounds with unexplored / visible fistula
    • Presence of untreated coagulopathy / Clotting disorder

    • Compromised micro-vascular blood flow to wound
  • Consumable Specifications
    • CANISTER: A discrete and disposable canister with an available volume of 500 ml, a super absorbent polymer (SAP) of 8 gm. The Presence of SAP helps in controlling strong odor and solidifying wound exudates.
    • DRESSING KITS: Four different Dressing Kits are available as per wound size – S, M, L, XL. Each dressing kit contains Smart Gauze, Non-adherent PU Foam, Transparent PU Film, Track Pad and a Wound measuring scale.
