Description
Velseal®-T is a rapid-acting haemostatic dressing designed to help control severe external bleeding in accidents, injuries, and emergency situations — within 4–6 minutes. Its highly porous sponge is embedded with clot-promoting and clot-stabilizing agents that spring into action on contact with blood, helping the body’s natural clotting process work faster to seal and stabilize the wound. Biocompatible and gentle to remove, Velseal®-T is designed to work even for people with bleeding or clotting disorders, including haemophilia, making it a valuable addition to any emergency first-aid kit.
⚠️ Important — please read before use:
- For external bleeding only.
- Velseal®-T helps control bleeding in an emergency — it does not replace medical treatment. Once bleeding is controlled, remove the dressing, apply an appropriate follow-up dressing, and seek medical attention as soon as possible.
- This is a single-use dressing — do not reuse or re-sterilize. If the first application doesn’t work, use a new dressing.
- Apply promptly after opening the pack (ideally within 10 minutes) — don’t leave it exposed, as it can absorb moisture and lose effectiveness & sterility.
- Do not use if the pack is damaged or the contents are wet.
