The ongoing Covid pandemic seems like a Sci-Fi thriller movie that we all have been living through. This pandemic outbreak and ensuing lockdown measures have taken a toll on the mental health of everyone. When life gets stressful, one thing that gets sacrificed is “Self-Care”.

We can’t manage the outside world, but what we can do is practice self-care to give ourselves the comfort we all need. In our last blog on Self-care we discussed what self-care is and its importance in life. In this blog, we are going to discuss some ways to practice self-care during the lockdown.

Gluten is a protein found in grains primarily wheat, barley, and rye. Gluten allergies, like any other allergies, develop when our body’s immune system becomes over sensitive and overreacts to gluten.

It causes several digestive issues such as gassiness, bloating, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.  It is not essential that people with a wheat allergy will also be allergic to other grains. They may or may not be allergic.

Climate change refers to the change in the average surface temperature on Earth. The average temp. on our planet has been 15˚C, but the past few years have seen drastic variations in the same, both up and down. Scientists say that temperatures are rising at a faster pace than ever.

There may be several reasons for climate change as per scientific consensus, primarily being the overexploitation of fossil fuels by humans and deforestation. This results in the release of carbon dioxide & other greenhouse gases, such as methane and nitrous oxide, into the atmosphere.
