Adrenaline is a hormone that will cause your heart rate to increase and your blood pressure to rise.   • Limit Alcohol Consumption: People with heart conditions like high blood pressure should limit their drinking habits. Even healthy individuals should not drink more than 2 alcoholic drinks per day. Water should be the drink of choice instead.
